July 19, 2011. After four years in hiding, former Maguindanao election supervisor Lintang Bedol surrendered to COMELEC. DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo facilitated his surrender. On the same day, Bedol started serving his six-month jail term for direct contempt, in connection with the 2007 poll fraud allegations.
